Noonoo mini-comforter at the House
Noonoo is the hottest thing in the UK for babies right now! What is it? Essentially, a comfort blanket made out of felted lambswool. I'm very excited because we have just brought this in to the House - and it is a gorgeous piece of 'play' equipment.The Noonoo Mini Comforter is a mini-version comfort blanket incorporating a mixture of felted textured features. It has been designed as an add-on for prams, car seats, cots and high chairs and provides a welcome alternative to the dreaded plastic distracters. The Mini Comforter is approx 14 cm squared. The perfect size to throw into your nappy/hand bag to bring out when needed. The Noonoo is perfect to use as a comforter in bed - the small tags, raised patterns and stitched design make for perfect exploration for little fingers. The Noonoo makes a perfect gift for babies up to 2 years of age.
You can choose from the Noonoo mini comforter with BLUE ribbon tag or PINK ribbon tag.
All Noonoo products are made using environmentally clean and ethically made products.

Tips for Smart Online Secure Shopping
Below is some great information and simple reminders of what to look for when shopping online. ShopHouse uses a secure gateway (DirectOne) and the merchant services of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia to accept all online payments.
Use your common sense and some simple steps to ensure your online shopping is as safe as possible.
There are many advantages to shopping online—you can shop at any time that is convenient to you, car parking frustrations are eliminated and your purchases are delivered to your door!
But there are some security traps to watch out for. When you shop online, make sure you are smart about the whole purchasing process:
- Know who you are dealing with;
- Know what you are buying;
- Be confident you will get what you have paid for; and
- Ensure that your account and credit card details are being dealt with safely.
What you can do…
Before making the purchase
- Know who you are dealing with—check that contact details are correct.
- Read the description of the product carefully—check the size, colour, value and safety of the product
- Read all the fine print including refund and complaints handling policies
- Check the currency, postage and handling and other charges—there may be extra charges you aren't aware of
- Check the final cost before paying
- Making the payment
- Only pay via a secure web page (one that has https at the beginning of the address bar and a locked padlock at the bottom of the browser screen)
- Use a secure payment method such as PayPal, BPay, or your credit card. Avoid money transfers and direct debit, as these can be open to abuse
- Never send your bank or credit card details via email—only via a secure Web page—see above
- Always print and keep a copy of the transaction
Use your common sense and trust your instincts…
Most shoppers know the warning signs to look for when buying something in a shop: the same applies to shopping online. Be wary if:
- The website looks suspicious or unprofessional;
- The website is offering bargains which look too good to be true; or
- You are not confident about their use of your information or that you will get what you pay for.

June Cover Kid Interview

Your best parenting experience so far?
Although it sounds all too easy, being that there are so many - my best parenting experience so far is being able to watch and enjoy Avery's emerging personality, the funny things he does, the way he loses his temper, the way he kisses and waves goodbye, the gentleness with other children his age and the way he REMEMBERS EVERYTHING!
Favourite thing to do with your child?
At the moment - it's got to be going to the park for a run (he's fast) and watching him play on the slide, up and down, up and down!
Tell us about a difficult time that you’ve had since being a parent. How did you overcome the difficulty?
The most difficult thing that I have had to handle is having a sick child. Although Avery is perfect now, we've managed a few hurdles along the way. When he was about 16hours old we were told that he had a soft cleft palate! We had no idea of what that actually meant, the implications it entailed. With the feeding issues behind us, he has also recovered perfectly from surgery in February. I overcame this difficulty with support from friends and family and the belief that there was nothing I wouldn't do to ensure his health. Also, I was always aware that this 'birth defect' was fixable and I was thankful for that, as there are so many sick babies and children and families that endure so much more.
I'm very neutral on this! If it comforts the baby and they're happy to take one, then yes! Avery had one for about 3 months, but because of his cleft palate it was impossible for him to suck it hard enough to say in, so eventually we made the decision try settling without it. I had a daughter who refused one, and my other son had one till he was two and a half. My opinion is whatever is best for the baby.
Top parenting tip?
ENJOY your children, be silly with them, play with them, enjoy watching them grow into little people. Savour every moment of their childhood - it goes so fast.
